The Future is what we make for ourselves. The vision of “The Cameroon Film and Movie Academy“ is to promote the Cameroonian culture, encourage professionalism in the film and movie industry in Cameroon/abroad, offer professional development and networking opportunities. This will be achieved through our strategic partnership with African Forum Scotland and African Movie and Film Academy based in Scotland, who are already delivering this programmes in partnership with Quality Scotland, Mount Zion Film Institute in Nigeria and University of West of Scotland.

The Cameroon film and movie Academy collaborate with the African film and Movie Academy in Scotland. This is a strategic platform founded on the best film and movie traditions, is geared towards research, training and propagating filmmaking in Cameroon/Africa.

Today, Cameroon/Africa films serve as a link for Africans in the Diaspora with Africans/Cameroonians at home.

These films have the potential to serve as a shared collective experience, a reminder that Cameroon/Africa is a vibrant country/Continent filled with colour, energy and possibility
